Buy Me A Drink…

Sing Me A Song…

First off, welcome to my new little blog. It feels a bit strange to be in a new place… even stranger that my archives are empty. Still, I know this change will be a positive one.

I decided that this time around, I’d like to shoot for a bit more anonymity. I considered changing the more common nicknames that I use on the site, but opted instead to have the search engines overlook me. That means no silly Google search hits, but it also means that certain people can Google their hearts out and still not find me.

Yesterday was Mother’s Day… my very first one without my Grandma. I missed her terribly, but the day was made much better by Las Vegas.

Catch and I headed out on Friday morning with my mom to meet up with two of my aunts and two cousins… it was a girly weekend. We had a blast. I even won a few hundred bucks (which have almost all been spent).

My favorite parts of the trip:

Vodka tasting at the Red Square Vodka Bar in Mandalay Bay:

Drinking all over town… this was at Margaritaville (WORST margaritas ever, for the record).

And, of course, the Jacuzzi tub in the 31st floor penthouse suite that one of our “connected” family members managed to score for us. I could live in that tub. Seriously. I wouldn’t even mind looking like a raisin.

Anyhow, I would love to give this blog a facelift, but first I need to figure out how exactly one goes about doing such a thing. I have a CSS file that I am staring blankly at in Dreamweaver. I truly don’t get it. I mean it all looks so logical, and I understand what some of it means, but overall I am lost. If anyone has any suggestions, please speak up!

If you need css help, I’d be happy to assist. The way I learned css was to take a file like you have and change random properties. It will all make a lot more sense when you can physically see what each thing does. Use the css editor if you can.
